10 THINGS YOU MAY NOT KNOW ABOUT US

  1. Our foundation for all things stand on Jesus Christ alone. He has blessed us with this amazing business as a way to serve others and we are so incredibly grateful for this beautiful gift that he’s given to us.

  2. My husband and I have been married for almost 3 years and are expecting our first little babe. We are so beyond excited!

  3. I met my rockstar husband when he was playing drums in the band ‘Loftland’, he had a scene kid mullet and I immediately fell, HARD.

  4. I could eat gelato everyday, especially talentis sea salt caramel, yum.

  5. I’ve ran several half marathons, without training for them. What can I say, I like a challenge. Or I am just crazy, either one. You choose.

  6. I bought my first camera from Costco. I love Costco. I feel like I am driving a race car anytime I am in there, darting from aisle to aisle. Am I the only one who feels like this?

  7. My main pregnancy craving has been Doritos.. I don’t even like Doritos, but baby certainly does. I can’t stop eating them. Is it even real food? Probs not.

  8. I am a small town girl at heart. I grew up in a town of 900 people on the edge of the Ohio River. Don’t get me wrong, I love the city and lived in Minneapolis for a few years right out of college, but there is nothing quite like a small town to make this girl feel at home.

  9. One day I want a small farm, like goats, sheeps, chickens, pigs… the whole shebang. I also want a garden. I am so domestic.

  10. My husband and I always said we wanted to have “all of the babies” , we still do. But the word ‘all’ has come to mean more like 4 to 5. haha, what can I say this pregnancy has been wild.

About

Hi There!

My name is Katie. Drinker of all the honey lattes and lover of all things white. I have an amazing husband, who also happens to be my occasional second shooter. He's the best & we make quite the team.

I am deeply passionate about Jesus, people, and photographing love. I started making art while in college. I started to write poetry, draw, and blog in my college years as an outlet in the midst of long studious semesters. Throughout those years I discovered a love for expression through art. I continued to dabble with various other artistic mediums, but lastly, I picked up a camera. The last became the love.

And, here we are. I look forward to working with you!

THE LAST BECAME THE LOVE.

As a natural light photographer, I love earthy moody tones.

My hope is to not just capture photos, but to capture visual memories that will help you revisit those moments over & over again!
